Best Stamp Ever

In my office we do some festive holiday things each year; we put up a Christmas tree and garland, we have office luncheons and pot lucks, we give to charities, etc. Some years are more festive than others. This year it has been so busy that the tree didn't get put up, but we still hung the Christmas cards. Hanging Christmas cards has been one of the most entertaining aspects of my holiday work season as some of the cards are beyond awesome.

Some past favorites of mine include...

  • Card with picture attached of a customer's children, ages 3 and 5 all dressed in camouflage and holding guns. (Nothing says Christmas like children with weapons)
  • Card with picture of a customer's employees all wearing the same outfit and standing in front of a garage door. (Imagine the planning that went into that? "Hey I have the BEST idea for our company Christmas card! Let's all wear the same thing and then we should stand together for a group shot. Maybe in front of Christmas tree? In front of the office building? Or I know! How about we stand in front of a half opened garage door with peeling paint?")
  • Card with all the customer employee's signature on it, except one, that decided to use her Hello Kitty stamp in pink, you know the hello kitty wearing the bunny ears? (Very festive)
This year's cards have been slim, just the standard deer in a meadow, snowman with a scarf, and the required pine tree with snow on it. However just as I was about to despair we received a card from Taiwan with the best stamp in the history of the world on it. It just has so much excitement in it. I saw it, and you know what I did? I raised my fist, and yelled. "YES!" How could I not?
