Space Travel

So we watched Wall-E this weekend. Milo loves this movie. Loves it from the top to the bottom. He has his own plot narrative which differs slightly from the Disney version. For instance, Eve otherwise known as Steve is not out looking for a plant, she is in fact looking for Walle. And the reason she shoots her laser at him is because Walle is covered in dust and she doesn't recognize him.

Me: So what is Eve looking for?
Milo: Steve is looking for Walle.
Me: Then why does she shoot her laser at him
Milo: Because he is so dirty, she can't see him. He needs to take a bath
Me: A bath? Can robots take a bath?
Milo: Everyone takes baths Mommy except Daddy he takes a shower, and sometimes dinosaurs too.

Me: Why does Walle have so much stuff in his house?
Milo: Because he fixes things Mommy.
Me: How doe he fix them?
Milo: He just fixes them, that is why he has lots of friends, they come over and he fixes them.

Milo: I cannot do that Mommy.
Me: Cannot do what?
Milo: I cannot fly into space like that. Not without my Mommy or my Daddy
Me: You are right about that.
Milo: Never ever fly a spaceship unless your Mommy knows about it.
Me: That is a good life rule.
Milo: And never go into space unless you tell your Mommy where you are going. Also when you go into space sometimes you bring a dinosaur with you, he can help you.
Me: Sure can. The problem is in finding a helmet that will fit your dinosaur.
Milo: Yeah, those are hard to find, I had one but now it is gone.

Also today is Milo's birthday. He is 4 years old. So a very Happy Birthday to my special little boy!
