I want to be in a band

My friend Deb came into town a couple of weeks ago and brought with her a present for Finn's first birthday. We want to say thank you Deb, it was very sweet and much appreciated. The present was a music set with a drum, drumsticks, tambourine, jingle bell shaker and some castanets. Finn of course was in love the moment he opened it. Sticks to hit something with!! Bells that make lots of noise when thrown!!! And a drum with a lid to store things in?!! A one year old's dream come true.

The drumsticks are probably the most favorite of all because they can be used to beat anything with and when thrown go a looooong way. A shriek accompanies each throw and Alice goes running pell mell in the opposite direction as I am quite sure she has discovered she does not enjoy being a percussion instrument for Finn and his sticks.

Milo also loves the band instruments. And between these instruments and our piano I do believe they will start a band one day. Right now they are in the practice phase so it is really just a lot of noise and screaming, which could actually pass for some varieties of rock n roll. I don't know what they will call themselves, perhaps something basic like Sheridan Brothers Band or The Noisemakers. Any suggestions or ideas?
