So Finn had a very big moment this weekend. Finn ate his first bite of real food; rice cereal. Which is not really all that flavorful. I do not recommend this as a substitute for your morning oatmeal, in case you were thinking about it. It is bland city, but not bad if all you have had your whole life is milk, I suppose.
Wondering how he did with it? Never fear, he loved it! Loved it totally. Loved the spoon, loved chewing on it, loved sitting in the highchair, loved making a mess, loved it all. Nobody else seemed quite as excited about it as I was. I think that is the privelege of being the Mom. We get excited about these seemingly minor milestones. However, I know that this is just the first real step away from infancy into the new and exciting world of babyhood and eventually toddlerdom. No more milk exclusively, now we will embark on the colorful tastes and textures of food, glorious food.
The paparazzi were on hand to document the event naturally. (Thanks Mark Sheridan for playing the role of paparazzi for me.)

Oh he is a doll! I need to see him soon. I'm so glad he liked his rice cereal...aww it's a big milestone. Who is he looking like? He doesn't look like Milo in these pics. Or does he to you? It's hard to remember. :)
